Anyone else dislike the video results in Bing?

One of the reasons I dislike using Bing is because of the image and video results.

In Google the list of videos are displayed in a simple fashion and and when you click on them you are taken directly to the video.

However in Bing I am annoyed by onHover action and preview windows.

I would rather just be taken directly to YouTube than be confronted with a bunch of previews and loaded windows.

    Anyone else feel this way?

It's been a while since I used Bing to find videos. Their video results used to better than Google's because unlike Google they didn't favor youtube videos. You'd get results from a lot of different video sites. But if now they have fancy previews to hop through before you land on the site where the video is then I don't think I'll be using Bing to find videos any time soon.

This is true enough. Google rarely shows anything but YouTube. Bing shows results from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, etc.

Maybe if they go rid of all the bells and whistles they're video results would be better than Google.

Personally I think I'd stick with Google anyway though. I've never been completely happy with any other browser.

I've never really had a problem with them. I like the feature. It allows me to watch the video without having to go to the site. It saves me time. Not to mention, I have noticed that the videos load and play faster from Bing then on their original site. I am not sure why that is, but it does.

Well I guess you can't please everybody. It all goes back to what we're used to I guess. Many people prefer a PC vs a Mac or vise versa simply because it's what their used to.

A lot of people don't like adapting to different technologies. Stephen Hawking used way outdated technology for opperating his computer for years. He just recently upgraded simply because he had to. His one cheek muscle stopped working and he is now only able to move his eyes. So he was forced to upgrade.

This mentality is used in business all the time. You have to slowly grow technology. If it moves to fast then it becomes ahead of its time and a failure. Then 5 years later it becomes to hit thing.

I"m not a huge fan of Bing in general. I don't use Bing unless I have to, which is basically never. I honestly like the way that Google is set up. It's much cleaner than that of Bing and Yahoo! They are both good search engines, don't get me wrong. I would just rather use Google. I think that over time both these search engines can become good ones. They all have to start out someplace.

Yes me too, for the very vew time I've been using it , it's one of the most annoying this I noticed so far now. It's also start with some loud music that is kind of bothering me when I hear it and make me really want to "rage-quit" the browser aha. By the way I don't really like also the UI of Bing.. too poor and overseen graphics over there. For me I would totally change the UI and of course the advertisments videos.
