I think that so many people online are obsessed with getting likes when they aren't even caring about the content that they are posting. When I go online and am reading something I want to make sure that it's been well written, otherwise I'm not going to like it or keep going back there. I have seen a couple of blogs where they don't care about the content, they care more about the likes. I get that getting likes is good, and it's fun but it's not when you aren't putting time into the writing. So, what do you guys think about this? Have you seen sites that only care about likes and not what they are posting?

The most frustrating part is when the subject headline catches your attention but then the content didn't give much justice itto it, it is just plain disappointing. Sometimes, it is just for promotion purposes. But, when I like the content I don't just hit like, I share it; I think gives much impact than just liking it.

Oh yes, that is the worst. That happens to me all the time. I think that people just need to settle down when it comes down to posting stuff online. I think that if people worried less about likes then we would be able to see better content. Yes, that is good that you are doing that. That way you are giving them more of a promotion with it.

I agree. Not everything is about likes. I know a lot of people who don't like to post or like things on Facebook, but they spend a lot of time there. If likes are about getting traffic to their website, then they don't count on these people who won't leave a trace that they have visited a site.
